Geography- The Indus River Valley is an Indian sub-continent. A wall of the highest mountains in the world- the Hindu Kush, Karakorum, and Himalayan ranges- separates this region from the rest of the Asian continent.
Monsoons- Seasonal winds dominate India’s climate. Usually happen between October and February. Monsoons cause flooding.

3. Referred to as the Harappan Culture
Little is known about the Harappan culture because the language has not been deciphered.

The Harappan Culture was technologically advanced. They had toilets that flushed, hot water, and sewer systems.

They would pray to their ancestors.
Oracle Bones- They would write a question on an animal bone and burn it. However it would split would determine the answer to the question.
