5. What We Do
Ensure that quality educational materials are available to people with CF, families, and CF care centers
Review educational materials and recommend edits for:
accuracy
usefulness across centers
appropriate reading level
Identify areas of greatest need
prioritize reviews
solicit authors to meet needs
Review educational abstracts for NACFC
Improve access to educational materials
The CFF Education Committee reviews educational materials submitted for approval. It is vetted for accuracy, usefulness across centers, and meets a recommended reading level of about 6th grade. Materials in the Resource Guide are routinely reviewed to ensure that they are still available and areas of need are identified through an intermittent assessment survey.
