The Bureau is responsible for providing academic services, library, information technology, museum and archives, political and administration research and specific fields of study. Besides, the Bureau has developed the services with the information technology to respond the needs of the members and other users efficiently.

- producing documents for consideration of bills, motions and other documents which need the approval of the National Assembly
- providing documents, articles and reviews
- collecting facts, data and statistics
- providing research and analysis service
- translating foreign documents (English-Thai)
- disseminating knowledge regarding democracy political participation and Thai politics to the public

7. Research and Development Division
- analysing political, economic, and social problems having impacts on the public
- studying and doing research on political and legislative matters
- arranging seminars regarding the research
projects.
- promoting and enhancing research projects as well as supporting researchers
- coordinating with other research institutions
- disseminating research information to the public

8. Library Division - purchasing and exchanging information resources
developing information resources
- providing information resources via electronic system
- providing library resources and document search services
- online cataloging to the shelf (Library of Congress Classification system)
- Maintaining bibliographic database
