We are excited for spring, with the weather warming up we have a ton of things planned. We have our 1st Annual Block Party, where we will have free hotdogs, drinks and sides (first come, first serve) We will also have a moon bounce for the kids. The Sheriff’s department will be there to help us launch our neighborhood watch program also. They will have there squad cars out parked for kids to explore and of course they will be there to ask questions. This is going to be a big deal and we don’t want you to miss out on it so please come join us for some good fun.
Our committees are working very hard and making some excellent progress.
Our Neighborhood Watch Program is kicking off and we are actively seeking volunteers. If you think you could help out occasionally please the board.
The Beautification committee had a successful trash pick-up day on 30 March we picked up from our front entrance ALL THE WAY to Douglas. We plan on doing this as well as a community trash pick-up once a month. We also are planning on doing a yard of the month. They winner will be featured in our newsletter as well as have there picture put up on our community webpage, Don’t forget the community bragging rights.
The Welcoming committee would like to recognize our new neighbors that have moved in to our community and send a huge heart-felt WELCOME! If you have not received a welcome packet yet please be on the look out. If there is anything we can do please don’t hesitate to ask after-all that’s what we are here for.
We have a lot of exciting Events planned in the next couple of months. Summer Play Dates: “Mom, I’m booooorrrreeeedddd” how many times have you hear this from your child during the summer? Well we would like to start a group that meets once a week to give our kids a chance to make new friends and give parents a chance to enjoy a glass of tea with some other parents! Children of all ages are welcome. We will meet once a week starting in May. Please call Mandy Honea at if you are interested.
We also have a Neighborhood Garage Sale Saturday May 4th . We are also running a combined sale to benefit our Charter Oak Hills HOA. 100% of the monies will go to help pay our outstanding balance with the road paving company. All donated items are tax deductible. Please Bring your items to coyote run before May 3rd to include items in the sale. Any Items not sold will be donated to a local organization. Please contact Mandy Honea at with any questions.
We would like to ask everyone to look over the Covenants and correct any violations that you may have. We are understanding and looking forward to working with you.

If you would like to make a donation you can make checks payable to Charter Oak Hills HOA.
Homeowner dues for the 2013 year were due on 01 March All payments after that date will be considered late. Please remember there is a $25 fee added on to your dues after the 01 March Please contact the board we will work with you.
