5 LETBs - challenges Flexibility and fitness for the new way that care is delivered Right balance of responsibilities, accountability and line of sight Appropriate and effective patient and public engagement Improve information on the quality of education and training The education and training system becomes an effective transmission vehicle for NHS values

6 Opportunities Employers to be at the heart of commissioning decisions locally, regionally and nationally Reconnect employers to workforce planning Articulate better what employers want Align service commissioning with education commissioning Support the development of good workforce data
