Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?

5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.

Phil 2:6-7 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.

Empathy
13
HEBREWS 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.
14
16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
15
HEBREWS 5:7-8 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
16
Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered.
17
Example
18
HEBREWS 2:18 “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”
19
“If you want to know how to live victoriously, you should turn to the One who was tempted like we are but did not sin.”

Eternity
