Hello poets! If you are interested in competing in the fall poetry contest, The Evening of the Spoken Word, come to Creative Writing Club at lunch in room 406 on Wednesday. The contest is next Thursday at 7pm. You can win cash prizes and help bring the trophy back to North High!

8. ATHLETICS
WINTER STUDENT-ATHLETES!  One last baseline concussion test will be today right after school in Room 20!  At 5:30 pm will be our last Drug-Free Contract evening in Room 506.  Tomorrow will be the last opportunity to sign a probationary contract at 5:30 pm in Room 506.  You must have a parent/guardian for both evening meetings.  There will be no other opportunities to go out for Basketball, Soccer or Wrestling.

9. ATHLETICS
We will continue processing Winter Sports today in Room 504 at Lunch ONLY this week until Thursday! You must have your green signature card completed, your printout from athletic clearance OR a blue sheet signed by parent/guardian and your physical—3 pieces of paper!!! We started on Monday, October 30 and you must have an eligibility card to try out!

10. ATHLETICS
Did you just finish your FALL SPORT??  If so, you have till Thursday to trade your card.  You must have a green signature sheet with 4 signatures on it and make sure you are registered in athletic clearance in the right sport.  See you this week!

All girls who were in Tennis, Field Hockey, Volleyball,
Cross Country or Cheer and have an athletic locker and who are not participating in a winter sport- you need to return your lock by Wednesday.  If you fail to return your lock by Wednesday, we will empty your locker and you can retrieve your belongings from the office in the
locker room.
