3. Who We Serve Mission
The mission of UHS Wellness is to enrich the experience of students and trainees on the East Baltimore campus by connecting them with beneficial resources and services, and to support multiple dimensions of health— including physical, emotional, intellectual, interpersonal, environmental, and financial well-being.
The ~6,500 students and trainees within the School of Medicine, the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the School of Nursing.
I see my role as your advocate, to push for what it is that will help you.

4. Priorities
Establish UHS Wellness as the home for student/trainee wellness efforts on the East Baltimore campus.
Conduct ongoing assessments of student and trainee wellness needs by fielding a biannual survey of all East Baltimore learners.
Establish a student/trainee wellness committee to provide ongoing input to UHS Wellness.
Engage leadership to model wellness.
Develop a communication campaign to highlight JHU commitment to wellness.

5. Priorities (continued)
Build a comprehensive UHS Wellness website to serve as a central hub for students and trainees to access wellness-related resources.
Coordinate closely with mental health providers and experts on campus to both reduce stigma associated with seeking care, and provide new supports which are not treatment-based.
Identify touchpoints throughout the year to connect with students and trainees.
Create new programming and events in response to identified needs.
Secure a physical space to support student and trainee wellness.
