AUTHOR: Mark, (also referred to as John Mark [Acts 12:25]) the son of Mary of Jerusalem [Acts 12:12]. DATE WRITTEN: circa 58 AD - considered the earliest of the gospels. WRITTEN TO: addressed primarily to Romans and gentiles.
