South-South Cooperation (SSC) has become the expression of collaboration and partnership among countries from the South, interested in sharing, learning, and exploring their complementary strengths to go beyond their traditional role as aid recipients. TT-SSC, 2011
Two quotes on the slide underline the importance of SSC.
SSC is recognized for its role in knowledge sharing and mutual learning.
Developing countries are motivated to share experiences, engage in cooperative initiatives, participate and influence negotiations and decisions.
All countries (regardless of size and development stage) can be part of these exchanges.
