Mary’s said ‘YES’ to God

2. Mary loved God very much.
One day, when Mary was a young girl God asked her to be the Mother of Jesus.

3. Does anyone know how God spoke to Mary?

4. God spoke to Mary through an Angel
One day, the Angel Gabriel came to Mary. The Angel told Mary that God was with her.

5. The Angel said: ‘Do not be afraid, you have won God’s favour.’
Mary was afraid. She did not understand.
The Angel said: ‘Do not be afraid, you have won God’s favour.’

6. The Angel said: ‘You are to have a baby son and you must call him Jesus.’

7. Mary asked how this could happen.
The Angel told her it would happen through the power of the Holy Spirit.

8. All the angels rejoiced!

9. The angels knew that God’s Son was coming to us.

10. Let us now think of how we can prepare to welcome Jesus.

11. Dear God, Please be with us as we prepare to celebrate the birthday of Jesus.

12. Each day let us ask our Guardian Angel to show us how to prepare for the Birthday of Jesus.
