10 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
What evidence can we give to others? Hebrews 10:25 1 Peter 1:14-16 Galatians 6:10 Mark 16:15-16

11 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Sincere dedication to One’s beliefs. The effects of Hatred.

12 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
The events of the day can only be explained by identifying its root – HATRED Hate cause Murder!! Genesis 4:1-8

13 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Christians are NOT to hate. Matthew 5: "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

14 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Christians are NOT to hate. Matthew 5: For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

15 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Sincere dedication to One’s beliefs. The effects of Hatred. The Great need for the Gospel

16 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
When the Gospel is preached its influence is felt. The knowledge of God’s Word changes a society. The Gospel is powerful and saves.

17 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. No one gets to Heaven without it.

18 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
2 Corinthians 5:11 – Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. Acts 17:30-31 – Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

19 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
When you leave here today look around. These people need rescue now. This is our commission: Matthew 28:18-20 Mark 16:15-16 Luke 24:46-47

20 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Can we do less then those brave rescuers? John 15: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

21 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Can we do less then our Master? Romans 5:6-8 - For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

22 Lessons Learned: Terror from the Sky
Sincere dedication to One’s beliefs. The effects of Hatred. The Great need for the Gospel

23 Conclusion Maybe there can be some Good which comes from these events. Christians need to be dedicated to our beliefs. Christians are NOT to hate people. We will understand the Gospel needs to be preached.
