For all doc libs in Office 365 (SharePoint Online, Team sites, Groups, Teams and OneDrive for Business) + OneDrive (personal) you should use the NGSC Exception: OneDrive (Personal) with OS Windows 8.1 uses a built in sync client SkyDrive.exe

The previous OneDrive for Business sync client (Groove.exe) stops running and removes itself from automatic startup
The previous OneDrive for Business sync client (Groove.exe) stops syncing OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online site libraries.
The OneDrive sync client (OneDrive.exe) starts syncing the same libraries without re-downloading the content.
The previous OneDrive for Business sync client (Groove.exe) stops running and removes itself from automatic startup, unless it’s still syncing other libraries, such as IRM or on-premises OneDrive for Business

Deploy Office excluding groove.exe using Office deployment tool or

19. How Do I get rid of the Groove.exe
Delete a shortcut to the old OneDrive for Business
For Office 2016 (32-bit) on 64-bit Windows the old shortcut is:
"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OneDrive for Business.lnk"
Deleting that shortcut will stop "OneDrive for Business" appearing when searching from search bar (or browsing the Start Menu). or
