5 Poverty, Unemployment, and Labor
Unemployment rate - 5.7% (2013) (54th in world) 21.4% of population is under the poverty line. Labor types % Agriculture, 13.3% industry, 71% services *Brazil is filled with poverty. This is not a good thing. Based on the charts, the unemployment rate is finally going down. In 2012, the unemployment rate was 6.7%*

11 Conclusion On the whole, globalization has been positive for my country because of a couple of reasons. Although there is a huge percent of people below the poverty line, that has gradually been decreasing. The literacy rate is great because of globalization. I wouldn’t say the GDP is shockingly big, but its average. There is a big population so that is great! A lot of people have jobs so that is great as well. This is why globalization has been positive for my country.
