4. PROPOSED LOGISTICS 2 26’ Trucks 1 Day No Packing Service
We will provide 2 26’ trucks for your move.
We will be ready to deliver your items 1 day from the pickup date.
You have opted to handle your own packing which means that everything should be ready to load on the truck when we arrive.

If any article is lost, destroyed or damaged while in our custody, we will, at our option, either 1) repair the article to the extent necessary to restore it to the same condition as when it was received by us, or pay you for the cost of such repairs; or 2) replace the article with an article of like, kind and quality, or pay you for the cost of such a replacement not to exceed $6.00 per pound per article.
Released Value is the most economical protection available as there is no charge to you .
Under this option, we assume liability for no more than 60 cents per pound, per article . For example, if a 10 pound stereo component valued at $1,000 were lost or destroyed, we would be liable for no more than $6 .00 (10 pounds x $ .60) .

8. INFORMATION HELPFUL Verify Authority
First things first, any mover transporting your goods across state lines must be authorized to do so by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)

If you hire a mover that does not have the appropriate registration then it is possible that your items may become confiscated if they are stopped by the Department of Transportation during routine inspections on the highway
This verification will also ensure that you do not hire one of the many fly by night movers that pose as legitimate movers

10. INFORMATION HELPFUL Packing Tips
The heavier the item the smaller the box
All flat screen tvs should be secured in TV boxes
Artwork should also be secured in TV boxes or flat boxes
All boxes should be labeled
Please refrain from packing liquids
Random pieces should be boxed as much as possible to assist with loading the truck
When we are unable to stack items we lose valuable space in the truck
Approximately 2/3 of our customers decide to pack themselves. There is no problem with that as it helps to keep the overall cost of your long distance move at a minimum.
