1 doc.: IEEE /056r0 January 2001 Project: IEEE Working Group for Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) Submission Title: [WG Reflector Report] Date Submitted: [18Jan01] Source: [Ian Gifford] Company [M/A-COM, Inc.] Address [1011 Pawtucket Boulevard Lowell, MA USA ] Voice:[ ], FAX: [ ], Re: [] Abstract: [The following report summarizes the WG reflectors and possible next steps.] Purpose: [The WG reflectors are manually maintained. There are a variety of inputs to this manual process but in the end it is manual. The Mailing Lists are maintained by Mike McInnis and are quite hard to manage as we now have seven reflectors to manage. This manual process can be delegated to the subscriber and they can self maintain their subscriptions but we lose the ability to capture their full coordinate information. We recommend that the Task Group reflectors be self maintained but that WG reflectors remain the same e.g., and The lost coordinate info for the TG reflectors is interesting but not required by the WG.] Notice: This document has been prepared to assist the IEEE It is offered as a basis for discussion and is not binding on the contributing individual(s) or organization(s). 9 Next Steps Change TG4 reflector
January 2001 Next Steps Change TG4 reflector from to Change maintenance of TG reflectors to self maintenance. Modify All Headers/Footers to make it more consistent e.g., TG1: Add to Subject line “ ” Add reflector archive URL on footer/signature Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.
