Kickoff Meeting Summary:
While we work on low hanging fruit that is within the capacity of those here we need to strive for and encourage GEO to make a shift from “Users Discovering Data to Data Discovering Users”
Our problem isn’t finding new data, data portals or means of dissemination, rather it is leveraging what is already there and more importantly getting critical feedback that will help us know what is working and what is not.
Then we have to be courageous enough to follow that feedback

Water obviously is a cross-cutting SDG, impacting at least: 2 – Zero Hunger, 3: Good Health and Well-being, 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, 7 – Affordable Clean Energy, 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities, 13 – Climate Action, 14 – Life Below Water, 15 – Life on Land
Challenges and Issues:
This is hard, lots of interest to harmonize activities, difficult to find the mandate within day to day activities and a way to facilitate integration of related activities
