2 About Us A non-profit organization started in 2016 to teach cybersecurity skills to middle and high school students Currently piloted in 2 schools (Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS) and Lebanon Jr. High School) Growth plan is 20 schools by Fall 2017 Cyber Warrior Princess ™

Women account for only 11% of cybersecurity jobs Women's Society for Cyberjutsu (WSC) Over 1 million cybersecurity jobs available 2019 Predicted over 6 million jobs available Career day – female students routinely responded with “I hate programming” and “I don’t like computers.” Female students tended to shy away from Cyber Patriot due to the competition side of the program Cyber Warrior Princess ™

Holland. You can see that cybersecurity careers are not located on just one personality type. Holland's "research shows that personalities seek out and flourish in career environments they fit and that jobs and career environments are classifiable by the personalities that flourish in them”. I took an online personality test to see what careers fit my personality, which I selected as Realistic, Social and Artistic…..none of the education majors that showed up were related to cybersecurity, this is a problem. Without letting students know the vast option of careers, we are not opening up the sector to individuals who think outside of 1’s and 0’s.
