Reading- Students will end the school year learning the characteristics of Fantasy texts. Students will engage in a variety of class read alouds related to Fantasy fictional reading.
Math- Students will end the school year learning geometry in chapter 9. Students will learn to look at the world around them through shapes and angles.
Science- Our classes will be using the “ConEd” sustainability curriculum to learn about energy. Students will learn how to make smart decisions at home to help our planet.
Writing- Students will use the information they learned about Fantasy reading to write their own Fantasy story. Students will use class texts as inspiration for becoming an author for their own story.
Students will draft, edit, revise and publish their own work.
Social Studies- Students will continue to learn about the Western Hemisphere from the past, and how it compares to today.
