Use your blue bag for these States have asked that you put wrapping paper in normal refuse however Parish of St Helier can take some Christmas wrapping paper Paper based only No glitter Not foil based No ribbons or bows please Not glossy Or take to one of our recycling bring sites Chapel Lane Snow Hill Nelson Street Peoples Park Convent Court St Andrews Park Parade Park

4 Cardboard Cardboard Heavy (brown) cardboard leave at side of your red/blue recycling bags on collection day Place Light cardboard (e.g. biscuit or chocolate boxes) in your blue bag please Or take to one of our recycling bring sites Chapel Lane Snow Hill Nelson Street Peoples Park Convent Court St Andrews Park Parade Park Or take to the states recycling site at La Collette

6 Plastic Bottles Plastic Bottles
Plastic bottles only please, these can be placed in the red recycling bag We cannot recycle the plastic sweet tubs, e.g. Roses, Celebrations, Hero’s, etc. Or take to one of our recycling bring sites Chapel Lane Snow Hill Nelson Street Peoples Park Convent Court St Andrews Park Parade Park Or take to the states recycling site at La Collette

7 Glass Glass Please use one of our 53 glass bring sites located across the parish Details of locations can be found on the parish website Or take to the states recycling site at La Collette Do not put glass in with your normal refuse bin If you are part of the St Helier kerbside trial your glass will not be collected on Christmas day or New Years day – see our website for details

8 Christmas trees & Batteries
Christmas trees can be collected by Jersey Hospice Contact them on Or via their website Or take them to the Household Green Waste La Collette (just a bit further round than the Household Reuse & Recycling Centre) Do not put them out with your normal refuse Batteries can be placed in the pink battery bank at the town hall Or taken to the Household Reuse & Recycling La Collette Do not put them in your normal refuse bin
