O High, O Mighty, O Forgiver, O Merciful.
âÈå×ãcán CáÖ ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ , âÈå×ã«á® CáÖ âäØãÃá® CáÖ O High, O Mighty, O Forgiver, O Merciful.

You are the Mighty Lord, who has none like Him.
çAåØáw ãÐãÃå\ãÇá¾ áuå×áÂ åÕãmáäÂB âÈå×ã«á¯åÂB âäPáäoÂB áYåÊáB You are the Mighty Lord, who has none like Him.

And He is the AllHearing, the AllSeeing.
âoå×ã|áRåÂB â°å×ãÇáätÂB áÒâÎ áÑ And He is the AllHearing, the AllSeeing.

ÔÃá® âÐáXåÃáä£á¶ áÑ âÐáXå¶áäoáw áÑ âÐáXåÆáäoá¾ áÑ âÐáXåÇáä«á® çoåÏáw BámÎ áÑ
ãnåÒâÏâäxÂB This is a month which You have made exalted, honored, ennobled and excelled over the other months.

It is the month in which You have made fasting obligatory on me,
áäØáÃá® âÐáÆCá×ã{ áYå¢áoá¶ åÕãmáäÂB âoåÏáw áÒâÎ áÑ It is the month in which You have made fasting obligatory on me,

and it is the month of Ramadán, in which You sent down the Qur’án,
áÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÐå×ã¶ áYåÂáqåÊáB åÕãmáäÂB áÉCá£áÆán âoåÏáw áÒâÎ áÑ and it is the month of Ramadán, in which You sent down the Qur’án,

ãÉCáºåoâ·åÂB áÑ ÓkâÏåÂB áÌãäÆ èVCáËãä×áQ áÑ ãrCáäËÃãäÂ ÓækâÎ
a guidance for mankind, having clear signs of guidance and distinction. (2:185)

You have placed in it the night of power,
ãnåká»åÂB áUáÃå×áÂ ãÐå×ã¶ áYåÃá¯á_ áÑ You have placed in it the night of power,

and made it better than a thousand months. (97:2)
èoåÏáw ã¸åÂáB åÌãäÆ Bæoå×ág CáÏáXåÃá¯á_áÑ and made it better than a thousand months. (97:2)

O One who favours, and none favours You,
áÀå×áÃá® âäÌáÇâÖ áÙ áÑ ãäÌáÇåÂBál Cá×á¶ O One who favours, and none favours You,

favour me by saving me from the fire, amongst the ones You favour,
ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ åØãXáRáºán ã½Cá¿á·ãQ áäØáÃá® áäÌâÆ ãÐå×áÃá® âäÌâÇáW åÌáÇå×ã¶ favour me by saving me from the fire, amongst the ones You favour,

and make me enter Heaven, by Your mercy, O the most Merciful.
áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånB CáÖ áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ áUáäËá`åÂB ØãËåÃãgåjáB áÑ and make me enter Heaven, by Your mercy, O the most Merciful.

O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the Merciful.
ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQ In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the Merciful.

O Alláh, Lord of Ramadhán in which You sent down the Qur’án
áYåÂáqåÊáB ÕãmáäÂB áÉCá£áÆán ãoåÏáw áäPán áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÐå×ã¶ O Alláh, Lord of Ramadhán (the month) in which You sent down the Qur’án

and made fasting obligatory on Your servants.
áÅCá×ãä|ÂB ãÐå×ã¶ á½ãjCáRã® ÔÃá® áYå¢áoáXå¶B áÑ and made fasting obligatory on Your servants.

Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,
èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB Ñ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

and enable me to go for pilgrimage to Your sacred House,
ãÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ áäaác ØãËåºâpånB áÑ and enable me to go for pilgrimage to Your sacred House,

in this year and in every year,
èÅCá® ãäÄâ¾ Øã¶ áÑ BámÎ ØãÆCá® Øã¶ in this year and in every year,

and forgive me those great sins
áÅCá«ã¯åÂB áPåÒâÊâämÂB áÀåÃãW ØãÂ åoã·å²B áÑ and forgive me those great sins (that I carry),

âÅáäÚá® CáÖ âÌÇåcán CáÖ á½âoå×á² CáÎâoã·å³áÖ áÙ
for surely, none can forgive them except You, O Beneficent, O AllKnowing.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

O Alláh, I begin glorifying You with Your Praise.
á½ãkåÇádãQ áAEáËáä\ÂB âeãXáXå¶áB ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, I begin glorifying You with Your Praise.

You direct towards what is right through Your Grace.
áÀãäËáÇãQ ãPBáÒáä|ÃãÂ çjãäkátâÆ áYåÊáB áÑ You direct towards what is right through Your Grace.

Øã¶ áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB âÈácånáB áYåÊáB áÀáäÊáB âYåËá»åÖáB áÑ
ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÑ ãÒå·á¯åÂB ã°ã¢åÒáÆ I am convinced that You are the most Merciful in matters of forgiveness and mercy,

but most severe in matters of warning and retribution,
ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Øã¶ áÌå×ãRãºCá¯âÇåÂB âäkáwáB áÑ ãUáÇã»áäËÂB áÑ ãÁCá¿áäËÂB but most severe in matters of warning and retribution,

and the most mighty in matters of power and magnificence.
ã°ã¢åÒáÆ Øã¶ áÌåÖãoãäRá`áXâÇåÂB âÈá«å®áB áÑ ãUáÇá«á¯åÂB áÑ ãAEáÖãoåRã¿åÂB and the most mighty in matters of power and magnificence.

O Alláh You have allowed me to supplicate
áÀãXáÃáNåtáÆ áÑ áÀãMEá®âj Øã¶ ØãÂ áYåÊãláB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh You have allowed me to supplicate to You and ask from You.

åSã_áB áÑ ØãXácåkãÆ â°å×ãÇás CáÖ å°áÇåsCá¶ ØãWáÒå®áj âÈå×ãcán CáÖ
Then hear my praise, O One who hears all, and answer my call, O Merciful,

and decrease my mistakes, O most Forgiving.
ØãWáoå\á® ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ åÄãºáB áÑ and decrease my mistakes, O most Forgiving.

CáÏáXå_áäoá¶ åkáº èUáQåoâ¾ åÌãÆ ØãÏÂãB CáÖ åÈá¿á¶
CáÏáXå·áxá¾ åkáº èÅåÒâÇâÎ áÑ How often, O my God, You have relieved me of troubles, how much grief You have dispelled,

CáÏáWåoáxáÊ åkáº èUáÇåcán áÑ CáÏáXåÃáºáB åkáº èTáoå\á® áÑ
how many mistakes You have prevented, how many blessings You have spread,

and how many series of afflictions You have separated.
CáÏáXå¿á¿á¶ åkáº èAÞáQ ãUá»åÃác áÑ and how many series of afflictions You have separated.

All Praise is for Alláh who has not taken a wife nor a son,
æUáRãcCá{ åmãháäXáÖ åÈáÂ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB BækáÂáÑ áÙ áäÑ All Praise is for Alláh who has not taken a wife nor a son,

who has no partner in His Kingdom,
ãÀåÃâÇåÂB Øã¶ çÀåÖãoáw âÐáäÂ åÌâ¿áÖ åÈáÂ áÑ who has no partner in His Kingdom,

ÁâämÂB áÌãäÆ çäØãÂáÑ âÐáäÂ åÌâ¿áäÖ åÈáÂ áÑ Bæoå×ãRå¿áW âÍåoãäRá¾ áÑ
who has no friend to protect Him from humiliation, so magnify Him with a great Magnificence.

All Praise is for Alláh for all His praiseworthy acts,
CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÍãkãÆCádáÆ ã°å×ãÇá`ãQ ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh for all His praiseworthy acts,

for all His favours and blessings.
CáÏãäÃâ¾ ãÐãÇá¯ãÊ ã°å×ãÇá_ ÔÃá® for all His favours and blessings.

All Praise is for Alláh who has no opposition in His Kingdom,
ãÐäÃãÂ â kåÇádåÂáB ãÐã¿åÃâÆ Øã¶ âÐáÂ áäjEá£âÆ áÙ ÕãmáäÂB All Praise is for Alláh who has no opposition in His Kingdom,

nor any challenge to His command.
ãÍãoåÆáB Øã¶ âÐáÂ áãpCáËâÆ áÙ áÑ nor any challenge to His command.

All Praise is for Alláh who has no partner in creation,
áÀåÖãoáw áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB ãÐã»åÃág Øã¶ âÐáÂ All Praise is for Alláh who has no partner in creation,

nor anyone like Him in His Greatness.
ãÐãXáÇá«á® Øã¶ âÐáÂ áÐå×ãRáw áÙ áÑ nor anyone like Him in His Greatness.

All Praise is for Alláh, His
Øã¶ ØãwCá·åÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB âÍâoåÆáB ã¼åÃáhåÂB All Praise is for Alláh, His commands operate over His creation,

and his Praise is evident through His Generosity,
âÍâkå`áÆ ãÅáoá¿åÂCãQ âoãÎCáä«ÂB âÍâkåÇác áÑ and his Praise is evident through His Generosity,

whose bestowal stretches out liberally.
âÍákáÖ ãjåÒâ`åÂCãQ ã¨ãsCáRåÂB whose bestowal stretches out liberally.

His treasures never decrease,
âÐâËãMDáqág â}â»åËáW áÙ ÕãmáäÂB His treasures never decrease,

áäÙãB ãACá§á¯åÂB âTáoå\á¾ âÍâkåÖãqáW áÙ áÑ
CæÆáoá¾ áäÑ BæjåÒâ_ (rather) the frequency of His Giving increases His Generosity and Kindness.

Surely He is the Mighty, the Bestower.
âPCáäÎáÒåÂB âqåÖãqá¯åÂB áÒâÎ âÐáäÊãB Surely He is the Mighty, the Bestower.

O Alláh I ask You a little from much,
èoå×ã\á¾ åÌãäÆ æÚå×ãÃáº áÀâÃáNåsáB ØãäÊãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh I ask You a little from much,

although I am in great need of it,
èUáÇå×ã«á® ãÐå×áÂãB ØãQ èUá_Các á°áÆ although I am in great need of it,

while You are eternally
çÈåÖãkáº âÐåËá® á½CáËã² áÑ while You are eternally needless of it,

while it is easy and simple for You.
áÀå×áÃá® áÒâÎ áÑ çoå×ã\á¾ ÕãkåËã® áÒâÎ áÑ çoå×ãtáäÖ çÄåÏás though it is a lot for me, while it is easy and simple for You.

áÑ ØãRåÊál åÌá® á½áÒå·á® áäÉãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB ØãXáNå×ã§ág åÌá® á½ápâÑCá`áW
O Alláh, indeed Your forgiveness of my sins and Your overlooking my faults,

Your pardoning my oppression, Your hiding my ugly deeds,
á½áoåXãs áÑ ØãÇåÃâª åÌá® áÀádå·á{ áÑ ØãÃáÇá® ãeå×ãRáº ÔÃá® Your pardoning my oppression, Your hiding my ugly deeds,

and Your forbearing my many wrongs,
ØãÆåoâ_ ãoå×ã\á¾ åÌá® áÀáÇåÃãc áÑ and Your forbearing my many wrongs,

done intentionally or unintentionally,
CáÆ kåËã® ÕãkåÇá® áÑ ÕãCá§ág åÌãÆ áÉCá¾ done intentionally or unintentionally,

tempted me to ask from You what I did not deserve from You,
ØãËá¯áÇå¦áB áÀåËãÆ âÐâRã_åÒáXåsáB áÙ CáÆ áÀâÃáNåsáB åÉáB Øã¶ tempted me to ask from You what I did not deserve from You,

which You (still) gave me out of Your Mercy,
áÀãXáÇåcáän åÌãÆ ØãËáXåºápán ÕãmáäÂB which You (still) gave me out of Your Mercy,

provided me by Your Power, and made known to me from Your answers.
ØãËáXå¶áäoá® áÑ áÀãWánåkâº åÌãÆ ØãËáXåÖánáB áÑ áÀãXáQCá_ãB åÌãÆ provided me by Your Power, and made known to me from Your answers.

So I became habituated to call You trustingly and ask You familiarly,
CætãÊåGáXåtâÆ áÀâÃáNåsáB áÑ CæËãÆD á½åÒâ®åjáB âVåoã|á¶ So I became habituated to call You trustingly and ask You familiarly,

neither fearing nor scared,
æÚã_áÑ áÙ áäÑ Cæ·ãMEg Ý neither fearing nor scared,

but with confidence in You for what I intended.
áÀå×áÂãB ãÐå×ã¶ âVåká|áº CáÇå×ã¶ áÀå×áÃá® æäÙãkâÆ but with confidence in You for what I intended.

áÀå×áÃá® ØãÃåÏá`ãQ âYåRáXá® ØãäËá® Gá§åQáB åÉãCá¶
Then if there was a delay (in Your answer), I would blame You, due to my ignorance,

and perhaps the delay was best for me, for You know the outcome
ØãäÂ çoå×ág áÒâÎ ØãäËá® Gá§åQáB ÕãmáäÂB áäÄá¯áÂ áÑ ãnåÒâÆâÛB ãUáRãºCá¯ãQ áÀãÇåÃã¯ãÂ and perhaps the delay was best for me, for You know the outcome of all affairs.

ÔÃá® áoáRå{áB CæÇåÖãoá¾ ÔæÂåÒáÆ ánáB åÈáÃá¶
áäØáÃá® áÀåËãäÆ èÈå×ãNáäÂ èkåRá® I have not seen a more generous master patient with a wretched slave, than You are with me.

My Lord, You call me and I turn away from You,
áÀåËá® ØãäÂáÑâCá¶ ØãÊåÒâ®åkáW áÀáäÊãB ØãäQán CáÖ My Lord, You call me and I turn away from You,

You show affection to me and I show hatred towards You,
áÀå×áÂãB â¤áä³áRáWáB áÑ áäØáÂãB âSáäRádáXáW áÑ You show affection to me and I show hatred towards You,

áäÉáCá¾ áÀåËãÆ âÄáRåºáB áÚá¶ áäØáÂãB âjáäjáÒáXáW áÑ
áÀå×áÃá® áÁâäÒá§áäXÂB áØãÂ You display Your love for me and I do not respond, as though I am above You.

ØãÂ ãUáÇåcáäoÂB áÌãÆ áÀãÂBál áÀå¯áËåÇáÖ åÈáÃá¶ áäØáÂãB ãÉCátåcãÛåB áÑ
But this does not prevent You from having mercy on me, being good to me,

and favouring me, through Your Generosity and Nobility.
áÀãÆáoá¾ áÑ á½ãjåÒâ`ãQ áäØáÃá® ãÄâä£á·áäXÂB áÑ and favouring me, through Your Generosity and Nobility.

ãÐå×áÃá® åkâ_ áÑ áÄãÎCá`åÂB á½ákåRá® åÈácånCá¶
áÀãÊCátåcãB ãÄå£á·ãQ So please (continue to) have mercy on your ignorant slave, and be kind to him through the excellence of Your Grace.

Surely You are the Bountiful, the Generous.
çÈåÖãoá¾ çjBáÒá_ áÀáäÊãB Surely You are the Bountiful, the Generous.

ãÀåÃâ·åÂB Õãoå`âÆ ãÀåÃâÇåÂB ãÀãÂCáÆ ãÐäÃãÂ
âkåÇádåÂáB ãÀåÃâ·åÂB Õãoå`âÆ ãÀåÃâÇåÂB ãÀãÂCáÆ ãÐäÃãÂ All Praise is for Alláh, the Owner of the Kingdom, who makes the ships sail,

causes the dawn to break,
ãbCáRå{ãÛåB ã¼ãÂCá¶ ãbCáÖãäoÂB ãoãähátâÆ controls the wind, causes the dawn to break,

áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB ãäPán ãÌåÖãäkÂB ãÉCáäÖáj
is the authority on the Day of Judgement, (and) is the Lord of the worlds.

for His patience despite His knowledge.
ãÐãÇåÃã® ákå¯áQ ãÐãÇåÃãc ÔÃá® ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh for His patience despite His knowledge.

for His forgiveness despite His power.
ãÐãWánåkâº ákå¯áQ ãÍãÒå·á® ÔÃá® ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂB áÑ All Praise is for Alláh for His forgiveness despite His power.

for the lengthy respite He gives despite His anger,
ãÐãRá£á² Øã¶ ãÐãWCáÊáB ãÁåÒâ¦ ÔÃá® ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂB Ñ á All Praise is for Alláh for the lengthy respite He gives despite His anger,

though He has the power to do as He wills.
âkåÖãoâÖ CáÆ ÔÃá® çnãjCáº áÒâÎ áÑ though He has the power to do as He wills.

the creator of all creation,
ã¼åÃáhåÂB ã¼ãÂCág ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh the creator of all creation,

the provider of plentiful sustenance,
ãbCáRå{ãÛB ã¼ãÂCá¶ ã¹åpãäoÂB ã¨ãsCáQ the provider of plentiful sustenance, the cleaver of the dawn,

possessor of Glory and Honor, and Excellence and Blessings,
ãÅCá¯åÊãÛåB áÑ ãÄå£á·åÂB áÑ ãÅBáoå¾ãÛåB áÑ ãÁáÚá`åÂB Óãl possessor of Glory and Honor, and Excellence and Blessings,

ÓÒå`áäËÂB ákãÏáxá¶ áPâoáº áÑ ÓoâÖ áÚá¶ ákâ¯áQ ÕãmáäÂB
who is far and thus cannot be seen, but is close and thus witnesses secret conversations.

Blessed and Exalted be His name.
ÔÂCá¯áW áÑ á½ánCáRáW Blessed and Exalted be His name.

who has no equal who argues with Him,
âkåÇádåÂáB âÐâÂãjCá¯âäÖ çãpCáËâÆ âÐáÂ áuå×áÂ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ All Praise is for Alláh who has no equal who argues with Him,

nor anyone similar to Him, nor any Helper to support Him.
áÙ áÑ âÍâkã¢Cá¯âäÖ çoå×ãÏáª áÙ áÑ âÐâÃã¾CáxâäÖ çÐå×ãRáw nor anyone similar to Him, nor any Helper to support Him.

áADáäqã®áÛåB ãÐãWáäqã¯ãQ áoáÏáº âAEáÇá«â¯åÂB ãÐãXáÇá«á¯ãÂ á°á¢BáÒáW áÑ
He overpowers the mighty by His strength, and the great humble themselves before His greatness.

He accomplishes what He wishes through His power.
âAEáxáÖ CáÆ ãÐãWánåkâ»ãQ á´áÃáRá¶ He accomplishes what He wishes through His power.

who answers me when I call Him,
âkåÇádåÂáB ãÐåÖãjCáÊâB áÌå×ãc ØãËâRå×ã`âÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ All Praise is for Alláh who answers me when I call Him,

covers all my faults yet I disobey Him,
ãÐå×ã|å®áB CáÊáB áäÑ èTánåÒá® áäÄâ¾ áäØáÃá® âoâXåtáÖ áÑ covers all my faults yet I disobey Him,

increases His bounties on me but I do not acknowledge them.
ãÐåÖãpCá_âB áÚá¶ áäØáÃá® áUáÇå¯ãäËÂB âÈãä«á¯âÖ áÑ increases His bounties on me but I do not acknowledge them.

How many pleasant gifts He has given me,
ØãÊCá§å®áB åkáº èUáNå×ãËáÎ èUáRãÎåÒáÆ åÌãÆ åÈá¿á¶ How many pleasant gifts He has given me,

èUá`åÏáQ áÑ ØãÊCá·á¾ åkáº èUá¶åÒâháäÆ èUáÇå×ã«á® áÑ
ØãÊBánáB åkáº èUá»ãÊåÒâäÆ how many great fears He has removed, and how many delightful joys He has shown me.

Thus I glorify Him, thanking Him and I remember Him with praise.
ØãËå[âCá¶ CædãäRátâÆ âÍâoâ¾åláB áäÑ BækãÆCác ãÐå×áÃá® Thus I glorify Him, thanking Him and I remember Him with praise.

âÐâQCá`ãc âÀáXåÏâÖ áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB
âÐâQCáQ â¼áÃå³âÖ áÙ áÑ All praise is for Alláh, whose curtains cannot be opened, whose doors cannot be locked,

âÐâÃãÆD âSáä×áhâÖ áÙ áÑ âÐâÃãMCás âäjáoâÖ áÙ áÑ
who does not reject the one who asks Him, and who does not disappoint the one who places hope in Him.

who provides safety for the frightened,
áÌå×ã·ãMEáhåÂB âÌãÆåKâÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh, who provides safety for the frightened,

rescues the virtuous, raises the oppressed,
Øãä`áËâÖ áÑ áÌå×ã·á¯å£áXåtâÇåÂB â°á¶åoáÖ áÑ áÌå×ãdãÂCáä|ÂB rescues the virtuous, raises the oppressed,

humiliates the proud, destroys kings,
â°á£áÖ áÑ Cæ¾åÒâÃâÆ âÀãÃåÏâÖ áÑ áÌåÖãoãRå¿áXåtâÇåÂB humiliates the proud, destroys kings,

and replaces them with others.
áÌåÖãoágD â¸ãÃåháXåtáÖ áÑ and replaces them with others.

All Praise is for Alláh, who crushes the tyrants,
áÌåÖãnCáäRá`åÂB ãÈã{Cáº ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂB áÑ All Praise is for Alláh, who crushes the tyrants,

annihilates the oppressors, watches over the runaways,
áÌå×ãQãnCáÏåÂB ã½ãnåkâÆ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãoå×ãRâÆ annihilates the oppressors, watches over the runaways,

punishes the oppressors, assists those who cry for help,
áÌå×ãgãoå|áXåtâÇåÂB ãiåÖãoá{ áÌå×ãÇãÂCáä«ÂB ãÁCá¿áÊ punishes the oppressors, assists those who cry for help,

áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãkáÇáXå¯âÆ áÌå×ãRãÂCáä§ÂB ãVCá_Các ã
°ã¢åÒáÆ áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãkáÇáXå¯âÆ áÌå×ãRãÂCáä§ÂB ãVCá_Các ã grants the requests of the beseechers, and is the confidence of the believers.

âká®åoáW ãÐãXá×åxág åÌãÆ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB

the earth and its inhabitants tremble,

the sea and all that swims in it billow.
âeáRåtáÖ åÌáÆ áÑ ânCádãRåÂB â^åÒâÇáW áÑ CáÏãWBáoáÇá² Øã¶ the sea and all that swims in it billow.

BámÏãÂ CáÊBákáÎ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All praise is for Alláh who guided us to this

and we would not have been guided had Alláh not guided us to this.
âÐäÃÂB CáÊBákáÎ åÉáB áÙ åÒáÂ áÕãkáXåÏáËãÂ CáäËâ¾ CáÆ áÑ and we would not have been guided had Alláh not guided us to this.

who creates but is not created,
å¼áÃåhâÖ åÈáÂ áÑ â¼âÃåháÖ ÕãmáäÂB ãÐäÃãÂ âkåÇádåÂáB All Praise is for Alláh who creates but is not created,

gives sustenance but is not given sustenance,
â¹ápåoâÖ áÙ áÑ â¹âpåoáÖ áÑ âÈá¯å§âÖ áÙ áÑ âÈã¯å§âÖ áÑ gives sustenance but is not given sustenance, feeds but is not fed

causes the living to die, and gives life to the dead.
ÔWåÒáÇåÂB Øã×ådâÖ áÑ áAEá×åcáÛåB âYå×ãÇâÖ áÑ causes the living to die, and gives life to the dead.

He is Ever-Living and does not die, (and) in His control is all good,
âoå×áhåÂB ãÍãká×ãQ âVåÒâÇáÖ áäÙ çäØác áÒâÎ áÑ He is Ever-Living and does not die, (and) in His control is all good,

and He has power over all things.

áÀãWáoá×ãg áÑ á½ãäoãs ã¬ã¶Các áÑ áÀã»åÃág åÌãÆ áÀãWáÙCásãn ã´ãäÃáRâÆ áÑ the best of Your creation, the preserver of Your secrets, and the preacher of Your messages,

the most superior, elegant, handsome, perfect, upright,
áÄáÇå_áB áÑ áÌátåcáB áÑ áÄá£å¶áB Ô¾åpáB áÑ áÄáÇå¾áB áÑ the most superior, elegant, handsome, perfect, upright,

prosperous, pleasant, holy and sublime,
ÔËåsáB áÑ áoáÏå¦áB áÑ áSá×å¦áB áÑ ÔÇåÊáB áÑ prosperous, pleasant, holy and sublime,

more than what You have blessed, given, had mercy,
áYåÇáäcáoáW áÑ áYå¾ánCáQ áÑ áYå×áäÃá{ CáÆ áoá\å¾áB áÑ more than what You have blessed, given, had mercy,

sympathised and greeted, anyone from Your servants, Your Prophets,
åÌãäÆ èkácáB ÔÃá® áYåÇáäÃás áÑ áYåËáäËádáW áÑ áÀãMEá×ãRåÊáB áÑ á½ãjCáRã® sympathised and greeted, anyone from Your servants, Your Prophets,

ãUáÆBáoá¿åÂB ãÄåÎáB áÑ áÀãWáÒå·ã{ áÑ áÀãÃâsân áÑ
áÀã»åÃág åÌãÆ áÀå×áÃá® Your Messengers, Your chosen ones and the honorable ones from Your creation.

the commander of the faithful,
áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãoå×ãÆáB èäØãÃá® ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áÑ O Alláh, and send Your blessings on Alí, the commander of the faithful,

and the successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

And send blessings on the truthful, pure (lady)

O Alláh send blessings on the guardian of Your orders, the one who will rise,

oá«áXåËâÇåÂB ãÁåká¯åÂB áÑ áÌå×ãQáäoá»âÇåÂB áÀãXá¿ãMÞáÇãQ âÐáä·âc áÑ
the one hoped for, the awaited justice. Surround him with Your favourite angels

and assist him with the holy spirit,
áÌå×ãÇáÂCá¯åÂB áäPán CáÖ ãrâkâ»åÂB ãbåÑâoãQ âÍåkãäÖáB áÑ and assist him with the holy spirit, O Lord of the worlds.

ÀãQCáXã¾ ÔÂãB áØã®BáäkÂB âÐåÃá¯å_B áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÀãËåÖãkãQ áÈãMEá»åÂB áÑ
O Alláh, appoint him to invite towards Your book to establish Your religion.

áYå·áÃåháXåsB CáÇá¾ ã¡ånáÛåB Øã¶ âÐå·ãÃåháXåsãB
ãÐãÃåRáº åÌãÆ áÌåÖãmáäÂB Make him the successor on the earth as You caused others to succeed before him.

Establish for him his religion which You have approved for him.
âÐáÂ âÐáXå×á£áWånB ÕãmáäÂB âÐáËåÖãj âÐáÂ åÌãä¿áÆ Establish for him his religion which You have approved for him.

½âkâRå¯áÖ CæËåÆáB ãÐã¶åÒág ãkå¯áQ åÌãÆ âÐåÂãkåQáB
CæNå×áw áÀãQ â½ãoåxâÖ áÙ Give him security after fear (so) he worships You and does not associate any with You.

áÑ ãÐãQ åpãqå®áB áÑ âÍáäqã®áB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB ãÐãQ åoã|áXåÊB áÑ âÍåoâ|åÊB
O Alláh, give him power and through him strengthen (others), help him and help (others) through him.

Help him with a mighty help, and give him an easy victory,

O Alláh, we earnestly desire from You
áäÈâÏäÃÂáB èUáÇåÖãoá¾ èUáÂåÑáj Øã¶ áÀå×áÂãB âSá²åoáÊ CáäÊãB O Alláh, we earnestly desire from You an honored state,

âäÁãmâW áÑ âÐáÃåÎáB áÑ áÅáÚåsãÛåB CáÏãQ âäqã¯âW
âÐáÃåÎáB áÑ á¹Cá·ãäËÂB CáÏãQ through which You strengthen Islám and its people and degrade hypocrisy and its followers.

And make us in it amongst the inviters towards Your obedience,
áÀãXá®Cá¦ ÔÂãB ãTCá®âäkÂB áÌãÆ CáÏå×ã¶ CáËâÃá¯å`áW áÑ And make us in it amongst the inviters towards Your obedience,

and the leaders to Your path.
áÀãÃå×ãRás ÔÂãB ãTájCá»åÂB áÑ and the leaders to Your path.

Give us through it honor of the world and the Hereafter.
ãTáoãgáÛåB áÑ Cá×åÊâäkÂB áUáÆBáoá¾ CáÏãQ CáËâºâpåoáW áÑ Give us through it honor of the world and the Hereafter.

O Alláh, what You have made known to us of the truth, help us bear it,
âÍCáËåÃãäÇádá¶ ãä¼ádåÂB áÌãÆ CáËáXå¶áäoá® CáÆ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, what You have made known to us of the truth, help us bear it,

and what we fall short, make us reach it.
âÍCáËå³ãäÃáRá¶ âÐåËá® CáÊåoâ|áº CáÆ áÑ and what we fall short, make us reach it.

ãÐãQ åÈâÇåÂB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB CáËá®åká{ ãÐãQ åSá¯åwB áÑ CáËá\á¯áw
O Alláh, through him put order in our affairs, gather and unite our flocks,

join together our separations,
CáËáXáäÃãº ãÐãQ åoãä\á¾ áÑ CáËá»åXá¶ ãÐãQ å¼âWånB áÑ join together our separations, increase our minority,

lift us from degradation,
CáËáÃãMEá® ãÐãQ ãÌå²áB áÑ CáËáXáäÂãl ãÐãQ åpãqå®áB áÑ lift us from degradation, relieve our miseries,

CáÊáoå»á¶ ãÐãQ åoâRå_B áÑ CáËãÆáoå³âÆ åÌá® ãÐãQ
pull us out of our debts, remove our poverty,

fill the gaps in our confusion,
CáÊáoåtâ® ãÐãQ åoãätáÖ áÑ CáËáXáäÃág ãÐãQ áäkâs áÑ fill the gaps in our confusion, ease our difficulties,

CáÊáoåsáB ãÐãQ áäÀâ¶ áÑ CáËáÎåÒâ_âÑ ãÐãQ å¤ãä×áQ áÑ
brighten our faces, free our prisoners,

CáÊákå×ã®BáÒáÆ ãÐãQ åqã`åÊáB áÑ CáËáXáRãÃá¦ ãÐãQ
åeã`åÊáB áÑ CáÊákå×ã®BáÒáÆ ãÐãQ åqã`åÊáB áÑ CáËáXáRãÃá¦ ãÐãQ grant our requests, fulfill our promises,

CáËáÂåKâs ãÐãQ CáËã§å®áB áÑ CáËáWáÒå®áj ãÐãQ
åSã`áXåsB áÑ CáËáÂåKâs ãÐãQ CáËã§å®áB áÑ CáËáWáÒå®áj ãÐãQ answer our calls, grant us our requests,

from this world and the hereafter,
CáËáÂCáÆD ãTáoãgáÛåB áÑ Cá×åÊâákÂB áÌãÆ ãÐãQ CáËå³ãäÃáQ áÑ cause us to obtain what we hope for, from this world and the hereafter,

and give us more than our expectations.
CáËãXáRå²án á¹åÒá¶ ãÐãQ CáËã§å®áB áÑ and give us more than our expectations.

O the best of all who are asked and the most generous of bestowers,
áÌå×ãÂåÑâKåtáÇåÂB áoå×ág CáÖ áÌå×ã§å¯âÇåÂB â°ásåÑáB áÑ O the best of all who are asked and the most generous of bestowers,

åSãÎåláB áÑ CáÊánåÑâkâ{ ãÐãQ ã¸åwãB CáËãQåÒâÃâº á¬å×á² ãÐãQ
through him, cleanse our chests, remove the stains of anger and hatred from our hearts,

and guide us to the truth on disputed matters,
ãÐå×ã¶ á¸ãÃâXågB CáÇãÂ ãÐãQ CáÊãkåÎB áÑ áÀãÊålãCãQ ã ä¼ádåÂB áÌãÆ and guide us to the truth on disputed matters, by Your permission.

Surely You guide whom You wish to the right path.
âAEáxáW åÌáÆ ÕãkåÏáW ÀáäÊãB èÈå×ã»áXåtâäÆ è¥Báoã{ ÔÂãB Surely You guide whom You wish to the right path.

Through him help us to overcome Your enemy
CáÊãäÑâká® áÑ á½ãäÑâká® ÔÃá® ãÐãQ CáÊåoâ|åÊB áÑ Through him help us to overcome Your enemy and our enemy.

the concealment of our leader, the abundance of our enemies,
CáÊãäÑâká® áTáoå\á¾ áÑ CáËãä×ãÂáÑ áUáRå×á² áÑ the concealment of our leader, the abundance of our enemies,

the scarcity of our numbers, the severity of our trials,
CáËãQ ãÌáXã·åÂB áTáäkãw áÑ CáÊãjáká® áUáäÃãº áÑ the scarcity of our numbers, the severity of our trials,

and the victory of the era
CáËå×áÃá® ãÉCáÆáäqÂB áoâÎCá«áW áÑ and the victory of the era against us.

and help us overcome that by granting us an immediate victory,

by Your mercy, O most Merciful.

with the distinguished people,
CáËå¯á¶ånCá¶ áÌå×ãä×ãäÃã® Øã¶ áÑ raise us to be with the distinguished people,

make us drink a cup of water from the spring of salsabíl,
èÌå×á® åÌãäÆ èÌå×ã¯áäÆ åÌãäÆ èrGá¿ãQ áÑ CáËã»åsCá¶ èÄå×ãRátåÃás make us drink a cup of water from the spring of salsabíl,

pair us with houris, by Your mercy,
áÌãÆ áÑ CáËå_ãäÑáqá¶ áÀãXáÇåcáoåQ ãÌå×ã¯åÂB ãnåÒâdåÂB pair us with houris, by Your mercy,

åÈâÏáäÊGá¾ áÌåÖãkáäÃáhâÇåÂB ãÉBákåÂãÒåÂB áÌãÆ áÑ
CáËåÆãkågáCá¶ çÉåÒâËå¿áäÆ çKâÂåKâÂ give us the service of the young heavenly helpers, well groomed like pearls,

feed us with the fruits of Paradise, and the flesh of birds,
ãUáäËá`åÂB ãnCáÇã[ åÌãÆ áÑ CáËåÇã¯å¦áCá¶ ãoå×áä§ÂB ãÅåÒâdâÂ áÑ feed us with the fruits of Paradise, and the flesh of birds,

and clothe us with robes of thick brocade of silk and gold.
ãoåÖãoádåÂB áÑ ãrâkåËâätÂB ãPCá×ã[ åÌãÆ áÑ CáËåtãRåÂáCá¶ ã¹áoåRáXåsÛB áÑ and clothe us with robes of thick brocade of silk and gold.

and the pilgrimage to Your
ããÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ áäaác áÑ ãnåká»åÂB áUáÃå×áÂ áÑ Grant us the benefits, of the night of power, and the pilgrimage to Your sacred house,

CáËáÂ å¼ãä¶áÒá¶ áÀãÃå×ãRás Øã¶ æÚåXáº áÑ
and of dying in Your way.

Answer our prayers, and requests, which are good.
áeãÂCá{ áÑ CáËáÂ åSã`áXåsCá¶ ãUáÃáNåtáÇåÂB áÑ ãAEá®âäkÂB Answer our prayers, and requests, which are good.

áÌåÖãoãgÝB áÑ áÌå×ãÂáäÑÛB áYå¯áÇá_ BálãB áÑ
CáËåÇácånCá¶ ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB áÅåÒáÖ and when You gather the people, of the earlier and later periods, on the Day of Judgement, have mercy on us,

write for us a protection
CáËáÂ åSâXå¾Cá¶ ãnCáäËÂB áÌãäÆ æUáMDáoáQ áÑ write for us a protection from the fire,

and do not confine us to Hell,
CáËáäÃâ³áW áÚá¶ áÈáäËáÏá_ Øã¶ áÑ and do not confine us to Hell,

and try us not with Your punishment and disgrace.
CáËãÃáXåRáW áÚá¶ áÀãÊBáÒáÎ áÑ áÀãQBámá® Øã¶ áÑ and try us not with Your punishment and disgrace.

Feed us not from the bitter tree, nor the thorny fruit (of Hell),
CáËåÇã¯å§âW áÚá¶ ã°åÖãoáä£ÂB áÑ ãÅåÒâäºáäqÂB áÌãÆ áÑ Feed us not from the bitter tree, nor the thorny fruit (of Hell),

do not place us with the devils,
CáËåÃá¯å`áW áÚá¶ ãÌå×ã¦Cá×áäxÂB á°áÆ áÑ do not place us with the devils,

nor throw us face downwards
CáËåRâRå¿áW áÚá¶ CáËãÎåÒâ_âÑ ÔÃá® ãnCáäËÂB Øã¶ áÑ nor throw us face downwards in Hell,

and do not clothe us with the
ãÄå×ãQBáoás áÑ ãnCáäËÂB ãPCá×ã[ åÌãÆ áÑ CáËåtãRåÃâW áÚá¶ ãÉBáoã§á»åÂB and do not clothe us with the flames and tar of Hell.

áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ CáÖ èAåÒâs ãäÄâ¾ åÌãÆ áÑ
Save us from all evil, O there is no god but You,

for the sake of there being
CáËãä`áËá¶ áYåÊáB áäÙãB áÐÂãB áÙ ãä¼ádãQ for the sake of there being no god but You, save us.

and the family of Muhammad.
èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

ånãäká»âW áÑ Øã£å»áW CáÇå×ã¶ O Alláh, I beseech You to place, in what You destine and decree,

from the orders which are definite, and orders which are wise,
ãÈå×ã¿ádåÂB ãoåÆáÛB Øã¶ ãÅåÒâXådáÇåÂB ãoåÆÛB áÌãÆ from the orders which are definite, and orders which are wise,

from the decree which is not reversed nor changed,
âÁáäkáRâÖ áÙ áÑ âäjáoâÖ áÙ ÕãmáäÂB ãAEá£á»åÂB áÌãÆ from the decree which is not reversed nor changed,

ãÅBáoádåÂB áÀãXå×áQ ã^Cáä`âc åÌãÆ ØãËáRâXå¿áW åÉáB
write my name as one of the pilgrims of Your sacred house,

whose efforts are appreciated,
åÈâÏâ×å¯ás ãnåÒâ¿åxáÇåÂáB åÈâÏâä`ác ãnåÑâoåRáÇåÂB whose hajj is approved, whose efforts are appreciated,

whose sins are forgiven, and whose evil deeds are pardoned.

and place for me, in what You destine and decree,

a lengthening of my life,

and an increase in my sustenance.

You support Your religion,
áÀãËåÖãkãÂ ãÐãQ âoã|áXåËáW åÌáäÇãÆ ØãËáÃá¯å`áW áÑ Make me among those through whom, You support Your religion,

not substituting any in my place.
Õãoå×á² ØãQ åÁãkåRáXåtáW áÙ áÑ not substituting any in my place.

I seek refuge with the majesty of Your gracious self.
ãÈåÖãoá¿åÂB áÀãÏå_áÑ ãÁáÚá`ãQ âlåÒâ®áB I seek refuge with the majesty of Your gracious self.

from the passing of the month of Ramadhán,
áÉCá£áÆán âoåÏáw ØãäËá® áØã£á»åËáäÖ åÉáB from the passing of the month of Ramadhán,

or the appearance of the dawn of this night,
ãÍãmÎ ØãXáÃå×áÂ åÌãÆ âoå`á·åÂB á°âÃå§áÖ åÑáB or the appearance of the dawn of this night,

while I still have a duty or a sin that You may punish me for.
ãÐå×áÃá® ØãËâQãämá¯âW çSåÊál åÑáB çUá¯ãRáW ØãÃáRãº áÀáÂ áÑ while I still have a duty I have not carried out, or a sin that You may punish me for.

يَاذَاالَّذِي كَانَ قَبْل كُلِّ شَيْئٍ
O He who, existed before everything else, Dua of Imam Muhammad Al-Taqi (a.s)

ثُمَّ خَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْئٍ ثُمَّ يَبْقَى وَيَفْنَى كَلُّ شَيْئٍ
Then created everything, Then He will remain while Everything perishes

يَاذَاالَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْئٍ O He who has none similar
To Him

وَيَاذَاالَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلى
O He who, There is none in the elevated Heavens,

وَلاَفِي الأرَضِيْنَ السُّفْلى وَلاَفَوْقَهُنَّ وَلاَتَحْتَهُنَّ
nor in the deep earth, nor above them nor below them

وَلاَ بَيْنَهُنَّ اِلهٌ يُعْبَدُ غَيْرُهُ
nor between them, A god who is worshipped besides him.

لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لاَيَقْوَى عَلى اِحْصآئِهِ اِلاَّاَنْتَ
For you is praise, a praise that cannot be comprehended, except by You.

فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّالِ مُحَمَّدٍ Bless Muhammad and the family
Of Muhammad,

صَلوةً لاَ يَقْوى عَلى اِحْصَآئِهَا blessing which none can
اِلاَّاَنْتَ blessing which none can comprehend except You.

at the shores of the sea of Your generosity and grace,

hoping for permission to cross to the shores of Your mercy

My God, if You do not forgive, in this honored month,
Øã¶ âoè·å³áW áÙ áYåËâ¾ åÉãB ØãÏÂãB ã¸åÖãoáäxÂB ãoåÏáäxÂB BámÎ My God, if You do not forgive, in this honored month,

ãÐãÆCá×ãº áÑ ãÐãÆCá×ã{ Øã¶ áÀáÂ á}áÃågáB åÌáÇãÂ áäÙãB
except the one who has sincerely purified himself for You in his fasting and prayers,

then who is there for the
ãoãä|á»âÇåÂB ãSãÊåmâÇåÃãÂ åÌáÇá¶ ãÐãÆCá[D áÑ ãÐãQåÒâÊâl ãoådáQ Øã¶ á¹ãoá² BálãB then who is there for the negligent sinner, when he drowns in the sea of his sins?

áäÙãB âÈácåoáW áÙ áYåËâ¾ åÉãB ØãÏÂãB áÌå×ã{Cá¯åÃãÂ åÌáÇá¶ ,áÌå×ã¯å×ã§âÇåÂB My God, if You do not have mercy on any, except the obedient, then who is there for the disobedient?

áÌåÖãoãä|á»âÇåÃãÂ åÌáÇá¶ And if You do not accept from any, except the performers of (good) actions, then who is there for those who fall short?

fast have profited, those who stay up in prayer have won,
áÉåÒâÇãMEá»åÂB ápCá¶ áÑ áÉåÒâÇãMEáä|ÂB áeãQán ØãÏÂãB My God, those who fast have profited, those who stay up in prayer have won,

and those who are sincere but we are Your sinful servants!
, áÉåÒâ|ãÃåhâÇåÂB Ôá`áÊ áÑ ÉåÒâRãÊåmâÇåÂB á½âkå×ãRá® âÌådáÊ áÑ and those who are sincere have succeeded, but we are Your sinful servants!

âÈåÖãoá¾ CáÖ á½ãÒå·á¯ãQ ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ So be kind to us through You mercy, and save us from the fire through Your forgiveness, O Gracious (One).

O Alláh, gladden the people of the graves.

è°ãMCá_ áäÄâ¾ å°ãRåwáB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, satisfy every hungry one.

èÉCáÖåoâ® áäÄâ¾ âuå¾B áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh, clothe every unclothed one.

ÌåÖãkáÆ ãäÄâ¾ áÌåÖáj ã¤åºB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, help every debtor
pay his debts.

èPåÑâoå¿áÆ ãäÄâ¾ åÌá® å^ãäoá¶ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh, relieve every distressed one.

èSåÖãoá² áäÄâ¾ áäjân áäÈâÏäÃÂáB traveller (to his home).
O Alláh, return every traveller (to his home).

èoå×ãsáB áäÄâ¾ áäÀâ¶ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh release every prisoner.

åÌãäÆ èkãsCá¶ áäÄâ¾ åeãÃå{áB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB áÌå×ãÇãÃåtâÇåÂB ãnåÒâÆâB
O Alláh, correct every wrong in the affairs of the Muslims.

¤åÖãoáÆ áäÄâ¾ ã¸åwB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, cure every sick one.

á½CáËã³ãQ CáÊáoå»á¶ áäkâs áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh, ease our poverty
by Your wealth.

áÀãÂCác ãÌåtâdãQ CáËãÂCác áAåÒâs åoãä×á² áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh, change our evil state to a good one through Your excellent state.

áÌåÖáäkÂB CáäËá® ã¤åºBá äÈâÏáäÃÂáB O Alláh, relieve us of our debts,

ãoå»á·åÂB áÌãÆ CáËãËå²áB áÑ and help us against poverty.

çoåÖãkáº èAåØáw ãäÄâ¾ ÔÃá® áÀáäÊãB
Surely You have power over all things.

Someone who recites one verse from the Qura’an, The Mighty, The Glorious, in the month of Ramadhan, is like one who has recited the entire Qur’an in the other months.

The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) has said:
It (Ramadhan) is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle forgiveness and its end liberation from the fire (of hell).
