Back of the office has computers with photoshop and other programs Poster Machine: Blows up posters 300% their original size Evans Basement - Organization Office Large office with 2 mac’s Locker space that maybe reserved Large round table with chairs to do work Fully stocked with pens, markers, paper, etc.

5 OSLA Reservable Items Popcorn and Cotton Candy Machine Reserve through OSLA Must put in work order to have it delivered to your location and a work order to have it delivered from your location back to OSLA Supplies $1 per bag for popcorn (approx. 20 per) – oil and bags on cart Use your budget # when you buy Cotton candy supplies free – pick-up cones and sugar in office Please remember to CLEAN the machines at the end of your event. Karaoke Machine Currently can only be used in Quadside and Alumnae Only

Available on campus life website to download and print Shaw’s Card Sign out in OSLA Box Office Sales Use the Box Office Form Fenway Card Machine Check out in OSLA – only can be used in the Fens Available on a first come first serve basis

7 Reserving Space Conferences
All rooms on the academic campus (except for classrooms), 1st Floor lounges on residence campus, Quadside (except Friday and Saturday night), Alumnae Hall, Mesick Classroom, Bartol (in consultation with Bill), and Bartol Small Events.simmons.edu USE YOUR ORGANIZATION ACCOUNT (please!) Stop by Conferences in E-200 and see Megan or Lauren Event set-up form completed online – use a diagram if needed

Anything over $500 is approved by OSLA Barbeques Must contact Bartol and Conferences Guidelines available online Must speak with the dining director to make a meal Alcohol Service Must use Aramark on the Academic Campus Must use an outside company on Residence Campus (outside of Senior/Faculty Toast)– preferred user in office Must contact your OC in advance

Discounted rate with direct billing at The Inn at Longwood Meet with your OSLA Consultant to get billing information Buses Variety that we use Negotiated a good price! Think about what the right size is for your outing/event Planes Booking early is the way to go! Do not pay with your own money

13 Technology Requests Simmons Technology OSLA
Reserve through the website Limited to wireless mics, mic stands, podium usage Cannot support bands, etc. At least 1 week in advance OSLA Reserve through making an appointment or ing Tia Will have trained Event Staff there to run and set-up the equipment Monitors, Corded Mics, Mixers, and more! Can support bands and performers At least 1 week in advance, preferably 2 weeks

14 Special Requests Parking
You can only request parking on the Academic Campus. On your request, please indicate whether you are requesting free parking vouchers or discounted parking vouchers. When we have received confirmation of your parking approval, we will notify you and set aside parking passes for your organization to pick up from the Office of Student Leadership and Activities. Please note that parking vouchers are only intended to be used for the date and time frame for which they were requested. Please allow 2 week for small orders (visitors, performers) and 3 weeks for large orders. This is ONLY to be used to request parking for official organization business, and not for personal use.

17 Simmons Palooza Simmons Palooza’s goals are to:
Celebrate Simmons’s history of increasing inclusiveness – and the ongoing struggle, at Simmons, in the United States, and the world, for social justice and inclusion. Bring together, highlight, and support existing and new diversity and inclusion programs and activities of the College. Build ongoing celebrations of Simmons’s social activism into the traditions of the College (e.g., May Day) and annual commemorations and celebrations (e.g., Women’s History Month). Create a greater sense of community and student-centeredness.
