3 Present Make sure everything is visible, neat, & cute
You MUST use diagrams, pictures & include all information in blocks of text. NOT bullet points (procedures & materials are different) Mount the documents on the poster using tape, glue etc. Don’t leave papers hanging. Set your board on the ground first to see how you want to arrange the different parts before using glue/taping.

4 What To Include Title Introduction Materials
Procedures (pictures with YOU in them) Data Processed Results Conclusion

5 The Title Use a very large font, colorful, & readable
The title should be carefully chosen to attract an audience and give them an idea of what your project is dealing with Make the title obvious to what you are doing, your audience didn’t do the experiment with you

6 The Team Indicate the members of your team somewhere on your board (MUST be on the back as well)- put them in alphabetical order.

7 Text Type using at least 14 point font. DO NOT use a weird font that isn’t visible. Introduction Be brief, be concise. Give a preview to your experiment, what inspired you, etc. Aims and Conclusions What is your goal with this experiment? Were you correct? Can you apply it? How? Brief and concise responses.

8 Results Use full sheets (30cm x 20cm) for each graph/diagram.
Remember you can use vertical ("portrait") or horizontal ("landscape") formats. Tables of results are not easy to read and interpret. Data is best presented in graphical form. Make results obvious to understand. Use color and display data in various ways.

9 Results The data should follow a logical progression across the poster. Use numbers or arrows to guide the reader. Label all graphs/charts. Give each data table and graph a concise title and a block of text. Use photographs. They add color and they will create a great visual impact. Take photos of every portion of your experiment. Add captions to all photos and graphs/charts explaining what is happening.
