3 Two Teleconferences were set after Palm Springs’ Meeting
<month year> doc.: IEEE <doc#> Two Teleconferences were set after Palm Springs’ Meeting 1st teleconference: October 9 (Tuesday), US EST US EST 8:00pm , 5:00pm PST, Japan, Korea: 9:00am, China: 8:00am TGD Discussion 2nd teleconference October 30 (Tuesday), US EST US EST 9:00am, PST 6:00am, Japan, Korea, 10:00 pm, China 9:00pm. Discussion forTGD and CFP Plan for November meeting <author>, <company>

4 Teleconference On 9th October, 2012
DCN: : “Views of PAC operation and requirements” Main discussion PAC device (PD) can provide bridge to infrastructure but not necessary. Multi-hop relay. Universal interoperability. Data integrity and confidentiality. ID and multiple ID for a PD Discovery identity (DID)

5 doc.: IEEE 802.15-<doc#>
<month year> doc.: IEEE <doc#> Continuing Argument By After 1st Teleconferences PAC features including discovery shall be independent and without intervention from/to (higher layers of) infrastructure. Main features (various IDs, security) must be self- contained, while allowing optional access to infrastructure. Besides PAC IDs, higher layer IDs (Universal ID in special case) are necessary, which can be deployed without infrastructure. Need a specific peer identity information for peer discovery. Various ID = user ID, application ID (service ID), discovery ID. A user ID is different from a device ID. User ID is something a user chooses, and device ID is something unique to a device. <author>, <company>

6 Teleconferences On 30th October, 2012
DCN: : “TG8 Technical Guidance Document - additional requirements” Main discussion All PDs shall support at least one common communication mode. That is true when ‘at a same frequency band’ A PD may use multiple discovery identities at the same time. Need to clarify definition first. Discovery ID

7 Teleconferences On 30th October, 2012
(Continue) Towards next step Encourage presentations on definitions of various IDs at November meeting. Solicit contributions related to regulations and channel models to facilitate drafting Call For Proposal. Require further comments on TGD of revision 6. (DCN ) and clean version TGD (DCN568-00)
