NDOP: A Framework for Prayer
Adoration Confession Thanksgiving Supplication

Adoration Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. (Ps 95:6-7). On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. (Matt 2:11)

Confession Let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. (Nehemiah 1:6) If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chron 7:14)

Thanksgiving Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Ps 100:4) Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus (Eph5:19-20)

Supplication Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matt 7:7-8)  If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matt 21:22)
