2. Psalm1:1-6
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

His nature, character, reflect thoughts of worship, devotion
Living by promises brings you the benefits
Not living by promises brings you misery
What does living by promises of God do for you?

4. Keeps you from Walking in Wickedness
Meditating on God’s promises, takes you out of step with wickedness
Love His promises and you will grow to hate wickedness
Neglect His promises and you will stand in way of sinners
More we meditate on word of God, more we are in sync with Holy Spirit
Choose a promise of God, meditate on it

5. Enables you to be Fruitful and Prosper
Value promises of God take pleasure in them
Gift of God to be blessed by meditating on promises
Where you plant yourself will impact what you become
Constant flow of life going into that individual
Bearing fruit comes from your planting, watering
Take a deeper look at unfruitful areas of your life
Link those areas to a promise, begin meditating on it

6. Enables you to Walk in Relationship with God
The wicked are like weeds that wind blows away
God will deal with the wicked blowing them away
God will care for the righteous, watch over them
God will enjoy a personal relationship with those who make His promises their priority

7. Conclusion Keeps you from walking in wickedness
Enables you to be fruitful and prosper
Enables you to walk in relationship with God
