Organization: Department of rural economy and food technology Work responsibilities: Lecturer Title of project: Integration and demonstration of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) in food safety curriculum in Faculty of Agriculture, NUOL. Objective: To integrate GAP principles in food safety course To develop simplified training package for farmers To demonstrate vegetable plot design and good practices in packing house

To develop 4 modules of GAP Produce quality Produce safety Environmental management Worker health safety and welfare 2 months (June-July) Paper, computer, ASEAN GAP materials, Standard GAP from Thailand, Lao food standards, printer, consultation 1000 Sayvisene Development of simplified training package for farmers Training package for fruit and vegetable producers in form poster, SOP, manual and leaflets. Training titles: Introduction of GAP concepts Supply chain/Value chain Cultivation practices: 2 months (August- September) Printing poster Information education and communication (IEC) materials
