1 Meeting Needs Titus 3:12-15

2 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
It needs to understand grace The church is part of the fulfillment of God’s plan of grace. Before time began, grace has been the plan.

3 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
It needs to understand grace Titus 2:11 “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.” I Timothy 2:5-6, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men— the testimony given in its proper time.” Romans 5:1-2b, “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.”

4 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
Grace is not to be abused. Titus 2:12, “It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.”

5 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
It must be organized well, both structurally and educationally. The church must be pure in its organization—true to its original form We cannot become wiser than our master. Jesus has set the order of His church Christ is the head And He has given us Evangelists, Elders, & Deacons

6 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
It must be organized well, both structurally and educationally. The church must be pure in its organization—true to its original form You should be able to walk into any congregation and find an Evangelist, Elders and Deacons. They should all preach the same message. Titus 1:16, “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.”

7 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
Our churches need to have solid educational systems so that we can be equipped to meet needs (physically & spiritually). First they must be rooted in the word of God! The older must teach the younger. We need to train our people not only in the word, but how to put it into practice. Discipling, Counseling, teaching, being servants, parenting, end of life preparation, Biblical financial practices…etc.

8 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
Its people must be kingdom minded, grace filled, & Christ-like Christians are to be truthful Christians are to be peaceful Christians are to be hardworkers Contrast this with the Cretans who were liars, evil brutes, & lazy gluttons

9 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
We must be willing and ready to do good deeds. Titus 3:14, “Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.” Doing good is always the right thing to do! It helps to maintain an atmosphere of Evangelism for the church. It requires us to have a merciful and respectful and forgiving attitude.

10 Titust 3:3, “At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.”

11 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
We must be willing and ready to do good deeds. We must have our lives and attitudes in order before we can meet the needs of others. We must be willing to do good deeds. “we must learn to devote ourselves to doing what is good.”—Titus 3:14

12 If the church is going to be able to meet needs…
It needs to understand grace It must be organized well, both structurally and educationally. Its people must be kingdom minded, grace filled, & Christ-like We must be willing and ready to do good deeds. “Grace be with you all.”
