3. Equipment rules
All sports have their own rules/regulations. This is to ensure the activity is played safely and fairly. These are legal requirements (Legislation).
All sports require different type of equipment and clothing. They can be broken down into 3 categories:
1 Clothing
2 Footwear
3 Equipment.

4. Class Task
Read Page 138 to 139 then pick a sport and produce a case study on the particular clothing, equipment and footwear that is needed by that sport.
Use the categories given and give reasons for the equipment used.
Work in pairs and be methodical. Pick your sports first then put together all the different types of equipment into the 3 different categories. Finally put it together for a presentation with reasons for each piece of equipment (some may be part of the rules others may just enhance performance).
