Input the sample data in Columns A, B, C, and so on
Click Tools
Click Data Analysis
Select Anova: Single Factor
Input Alpha = selected value of level of significance (in this case, 0.01)
Input the range of sample data in Input Range
Select Grouped By: Columns
Click OK

Input the sample data in columns C1, C2, C3, and so on
Click ANOVA
Click One-Way (unstacked)
Click on Stat
Input columns containing sample data in Responses (in separate columns)
Click OK

Click Data Analysis
Click Tools
Input the sample data as shown in the screen shot
Select Anova: Two-Factor Without Replication
Enter Input Range = Range of data (in our example, $A$1:$D$5)
Click Labels
Click OK

Input Column factor = the column containing the column indices
Input Row factor = the column containing row indices (Student)
Input Response = the column containing the data (Grades)
Input the sample data in columns C1, C2, and C3, as shown in the screen shot. (E.g., the data value coresponding to student 1 and Course 1 is 76. So, input in cells C1, C2, and C3, 1, 1, and 76, respectively)
Click Two-Way
Click Stat
Click ANOVA
Click OK
Select Fit additive model
