The beginnings of the Renaissance literary period began in Italy in the 15th century, which spread across Europe and eventually throughout the world
The effects of the period was different for each region depending on the culture
For example, you can see English literature change from medieval English to the more modern language during the period
Mainly influenced humanism and encouraged education, writing, and reading

Shakespeare
Sir Thomas More (Utopia)
Boccaccio (Decameron)
Dante (Divine Comedy)
Machiavelli (The Prince)

4. Shakespeare Unknown birth date Was an English poet and playwright
Possibly considered one of the best playwrights in history
Questions about him being gay
At his time, he was not appreciated as much as we now do today
Wrote many plays such as Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and The Tempest

5. Themes Had a lot of vernacular and Latin poetry
The material were both sophisticated and vulgar
Were some themes that had to do with justice
New types were also created, like the sonnet
