4 SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY We believe that students learn best in a collaborative, friendly and nurturing environment, which provides them with opportunities to socialize, work collaboratively, and utilize accountable talk. We believe that individual learning needs can be met through the use of multiple entry points and by implementing the principles of Universal Design. At PS 241 we believe that children learn best when they are given opportunities to be engaged in real life experiences through excursions, interviewing classmates, staff, real live authors, and relatives. Problem solving, differentiated tasks, and the use of technology for researching online are employed.
