2 OUTLINE Overview of the presentation (5-7 phrases)
Presentation could have between slides Usually conference or journal articles, and several other online sources as well, are organized into multiple sections: Abstract, Introduction, Problem statement/Project information, Proposed design/ Implementation Techniques, Results, Conclusions, Future work, etc. Examine the Abstract and Conclusions section for identifying the big ideas and results of the published work. If the resource you have selected is a video, try to identify the different logical sections it is organized into and analyze these as we had done for the article reviews in previous classes, such as those related to fiber-optic safety in NET ( ReviewNumber.pdf). You can also look at other related videos for information that goes into the different sections of the presentation for the Background. However, preferably only one source (article or video) should be identified and used as the primary resource for the group presentation. 2 2

6 Assumptions List the operating conditions or system constraints under which the problem is being solved Any implicit or explicit assumptions about the product, the process, the ultimate users, the test conditions, intended vs. actual use 6 6

7 PROPOSED SOLUTION List steps taken to solve the problem such as but not limited to: Brainstorming (gist of ideas tried) Proposed solution with justification Arranging for software/hardware Assembly Testing and troubleshooting Verifying results This might continue on multiple slides 7 7

Include lots of relevant images and multimedia only (maybe 1 or 2 goofy images in the presentation are OK) Show simulation plots or clip if available Show calculated results if available 8 8
