Winter Spring Summer Fall March: Committees review and score Grants. Make funding recommendations to Crime Commission GCC sends out Announcement of Availability of Funds May: Full Applications Due September Grantees attend Mandatory Grant Award Workshops Full Applications Reviewed by GCC Staff GCC holds regional Grant Writing Workshops Fall: Committees begin discussion on creation of program priorities and legislative agenda GCC Staff review pre-applications for allowable cost/activities Grantee makes any necessary changes On-line Pre-Application is available Late March-Early April Notification of Funding Recommendation Sent to All Applicants. Award Letters Sent to Grantees in September Committees finalize program priorities and legislative agenda items Pre-Applications Due January 31 (or the last working day of January) All signature pages must also arrive at GCC by January 30 (or the last working day of January) April Applications solicited from approved pre-applications. Approval Letters sent with “special conditions” detailing necessary changes for the grantee to make on the full application Grantee Signs and Returns Grant Award to GCC October 1 Grants Begin
