8 PSA & Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC)
Through our elected representatives and extensive membership participation PSA plays an active and influential role in Mailer’s Technical Advisory Committee proceedings and work groups All parcel related MTAC workgroups for the last nine years have been led by PSA members

9 Mtac & WORK GROUPS Form by USPS at the request of industry to resolve operational issues Much of the discussion takes place by conference call MTAC Workgroups are open to all PSA members, and many find it very useful to participate Ongoing--WG #185 is designed to allow the USPS and industry to determine an Address Quality Threshold target for implementation in January 2018

Ensure SMB’s who ship packages with the Postal Service have a voice and input to USPS change initiatives Encourage simpler, cost effective package preparation, shipping payment, and entry requirements for SMB’s Demystify shipping Engage the USPS to better understand the impact its rules, requirements, and pricing has on SMB’s

Committee includes shippers, carriers and third party service providers with expertise in cross-border parcel shipping Monitor trends, practices, legislation, & regulatory issues involving U.S. Customs, Department of Commerce, DHS & TSA Track Universal Postal Union issues and new developments with respect to international parcel shipping Promote PSA membership to international and domestic parcel shippers considering shipping with USPS

13 Network, Transportation & Delivery Committee
Promote cost-effective, high-value, ground parcel services and products that meets the needs of PSA members Communicate network, transportation and delivery changes to key partners Conduct on-going discussions on planned parcel qualifications and preparation changes that affect discounts, pricing or service
