BOOTCAMP What is the Nurse Ready Bootcamp?: NURSE READY
Bootcamp is held in the evenings One week a Month Held from 4:00-9:00pm Classes are in the Nursing Labs (simulation & low fidelity) Fulltime with the Instructor Includes a nursing uniform and professional grade stethoscope Skills Kit and access to the Open Practice Labs for the semester Individual Coaching from the Instructor Tailored for individuals who are needing exposure to the Canadian Healthcare System Psychomotor Skill instructor and practice

NURSE READY – 3 Week Course
What is the Nurse Ready 3 Week Course? Nurse Ready is a transitional opportunity for application to GNIE or those preparing to go into the clinical environment Wed, Thurs & Fridays for three consecutive weeks a Month Held from 9:30-2:30pm (with additional practice time) Classes are held in the PS Office with exposure to the Nursing Labs (simulation & low fidelity) Learners will work in groups Learners must complete coursework in preparation of class time

COSTS Why do both courses cost $1650.00 plus GST?
NURSE READY COSTS Why do both courses cost $ plus GST? Two different courses, each with its own benefits The NR Bootcamp provides learners with fulltime exposure to the labs and the instructor Nurse Ready (3 wks) has classroom expectations without the instructor, in addition to the lab time The NR Bootcamp is designed for individuals who need additional support for their nursing practice, and have not yet met licensure criteria for LPN or RN status in Canada Nurse Ready (3 wks) has additional learning activities required prior to class, registration in an online learning resource, as well as, in class learning activities in preparation for GNIE &/or Clinical Learners have full access to the instructor during the NR Bootcamp, so the feedback loop is constant and learning is focused and intense Hour per hour, there is intensive instructor support in the NR Bootcamp which contributes to the overall cost

NURSE READY Which Course is Better for Me? NR Bootcamp has a strong focus on skills required for Canadian nursing Learners undergo exams at the beginning and the end of the NR Bootcamp, to gauge knowledge levels Learners who are not meeting the current benchmark for nursing are provided individual goal setting The NR Bootcamp is not appropriate for individuals seeking admission to GNIE
