2. Context
GreenTech Movie Festival was inspired by the launch in Romania of the movie DEMAIN, a collection of examples from economy, agriculture, energy, education, and democracy, collected from ten countries.
The movie was presented in Romania by Media Image Factory and was was received enthusiastically by audiences from Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca.
The presentation of the movie in Romania was supported by Association ECOTIC and French Institute.
The movie is a perfect illustration of the idea that the power of example is the best to motivate people.
Romanian public needs this kind of examples. GreenTech Movie Festival aims to present examples from Romania by producing a movie illustrating positive actions made by ordinary people, but undiscovered.

3. Concept GreenTech Movie Festival
GreenTech Movie Festival is the first festival of film in Romania which presents not just a sellection of the best eco and technology movies, but also provides a framework to produce and present the the first Romanian documentary based on examples of good practice in our country.
The main purpose of GreenTech Movie is to educate young people to have a new lifestyle, where ecology and tehnology are vital for the functioning of society.
GreenTech Movie Festival are has three directions of action:
Producing a movie about examples of good practices in Romania;
Organizing a movie festival about ecology and tehnology. The festival will be opened with the documentary.

6. Movie producing
The film will be organized around some video reports made in an open competition for young people in Romania who are interested in environmental protection (education, agriculture, energy, technology, economy) and know how to appeal to technology to capture good practices of community belonging.
The competition is open to all environmental enthusiasts and will run from February to April The contest offers the freedom to use any type of technology - phone, camera, camcorder.
The best videos submitted to the competition will be used in the documentary film. This will be complemented by interventions of specialists from areas like environment, journalism, science, civil society).

Timeline:
The festival will take place for three days. It will include debates, projections of the best movies from greentech area, and award for those who contribute to the developing of the project.

About Guerilla Verde - concept:
Launched in 2009, Guerilla Verde (Green Guerilla) is the first caravan with ecological message from Romania. The Caravan takes place in the form of local events containing: movie projections, debates, competitions.
The events are organized in companies (for employees and partners), schools, universities, cinemas, with free entry. The local events are organized with the support of local authorities (town halls, local EPAs) and local media. Every movie projection is accompanied by dialogue, debates and Q&A sessions, in the presences of specials guests (NGOs and local partners).

14. GreenTech Movie Festival Guerilla Verde
About Guerilla Verde - development:
The XVth edition of the caravan Guerilla Verde will take place between October – December, 2017.
Cities included in the program of this edition: Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Brasov and Bucharest.
The movie projections will be held after the development of GreenTech Movie Festival in Bucharest.
The novelty of this edition will the presentation in premier for Guerilla Verde of a Romanian movie.
