3. Scotland and Ireland
If you are interested in traveling to Scotland and Ireland this summer, there will be an information session for parents Monday Sept. 25th at 6:00pm in Ms. Verhoff’s room.
For more information, or if you can’t make it to the meeting, stop and see Ms. Verhoff.

4. Financial Aid Night
September 28 at 6 P.M. In the high school cafetorium This meeting is important for senior parents and students. We want you to be aware of the Financial Aid process. Junior parents are welcome to attend if you would like to prepare early for your child’s senior year.

Amanda Reisinger, a financial aid administrator from Zane State College, will be the presenter.

5. Attention Seniors
Zane State and Ohio University-Zanesville will be hosting a College Day on Friday, Oct. 13 from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Representatives from more than 55 colleges, universities and the military will be attending.
We will be taking a bus to the event. If you are a senior and would like to attend, stop in Student Services to sign up by Friday, Oct. 6.
We will take the first 40 students to sign up.

6. Colleges
Walsh, COTC, Ashland and Cincinnati colleges will be here this week. All college visits are listed on the Student Services website.

7. Muskingum County Community Youth Foundation
Friday, September 22 is the deadline for anyone interested in applying to join CYF. All Muskingum County high school students are eligible for membership.
Applications are accepted online only at mccf.org.

10. Marching Scotties
Congratulations to the Tri-Valley Marching Scotties. The band competed in the Ohio Music Education Association sanctioned event this past Saturday at Cambridge High School. The band received 1st place in Percussion and Auxiliary. The Auxiliary was 2nd in the overall contest and the band placed 3rd overall out of nine bands.
