26. The majority of the time at these trainings will be focused on the speaking portion of the ELPAC as it is the one that is administered one-on-one and the examiner must be very well-versed on what to do when administering the test and how to score since each item is scored right then and there.
It’s very important when doing the Administration and Scoring training at your district to provide sufficient time for practice with scoring and calibration for the speaking items.

31. Participating in these opportunities is a really good way to become familiar with the ELPAC and provide input from the field on these new assessments.
