7. Environment, Safety and social aspects
The consultant controls and monitors the works impacts on air, water, soils and sediments quality + biodiversity
Organize training sessions to improve Contractors and workers skills
Check that all the Environmental actions are engage
Exchanges with Project Owner staff and WB to propose / illustrate alternatives and optional solutions
Specific information, training and control are undertaken concerning safety equipment and procedures for workers who have few experience of maritime works.
SOCIAL / Education of Workers and local population
CNR has set up with a Vietnamese NGO a program of education related to the risk of HIV and other sexual diseases.
14 meetings concerning 750 workers and local people were organized on the different packages along the Red River Delta.
