5 General description Development of novel structural indicators
The measures are to be capable of grasping the structural impact of an individuals’ activity. The indicators should incorporate the state-of-the art developments in social network analysis. The measures should be able to account for multiple aspects of a researcher’s impact. Indicators should be robust, scalable, parameterizable, and adjustable to different evaluation purposes. The measures should mirror effects in a broader domain than that of the scholarly community. Indicators should either form a toolkit with elements adapted to the SISOB use cases, or highly flexible measures applicable to and being expressive for multiple domains.

6 Structure T4.1 Define and classify the objectives to measure related to social aspects and levels - Study, detect and categorize the social aspects to be measured - Explore state-of-the art perspectives via mapping the literature on the topic D4.1 Report of indicators considering social aspects and their: Detailed report on indicators, considering the objectives to measure related to social aspects and levels. (M6)

7 Structure D4.2 Specific definition of indicators for case studies:
T4.2 Instantiate into indicators the general objectives of task 5.1 for the selected case studies - Explore the pool of potential models and frameworks for implementing measures (e.g. SNA models) - Define indicators for the case studies - Model, for each indicator the procedure of implementation D4.2 Specific definition of indicators for case studies: data, calculation schema, expected results (M12)

8 Structure T4.3 Contrast indicators with the information requirementss - Evaluate, using the SISOB database the quality of each indicator - Refine the definition if the indicators D4.3 Review of of the indicator quality test and refinements: Study about the quality of the indicators. (M24)

9 Structure T4.4 Implement the indicators within the generated modules in SISOB system - Collect real data from the SISOB database, using control cases D4.3 Review of of the indicator quality test and refinements: Study about the quality of the indicators. (M24) D4.4 Report on the indicators operating within the SISOB modules. Comparative approach. Report on the results obtained with the first prototype of SISOB with the basis to calcucate indicators.

10 Structure T4.5 Compare and Analyze the proposed methodology with traditional indicators - mapping the relationship between proposed and traditional indicators - Contrast with current existing database the conclusions taking into account traditional impact D4.4 Report on the indicators operating within the SISOB modules. Comparative approach. Report on the results obtained with the first prototype of SISOB with the basis to calcucate indicators.
