Build, Build, Build Housing for choice and affordability as well as national economic growth More flexibility between types of homes: rental/Home Ownership/Shared Ownership Active intervention to unlock supply chain Planning reform Identification of brownfield and other land priorities Commitment to bring forward public land and grant funding Areas of Focus: Training, skills, Offsite manufacturing, SME Changing roles: Between local and national government: devolution, municipal enablers Government active oversight and intervention where there is a failure of the market or to a need to rebuild or develop markets (incl. planning/ homes) Better use of resources: regeneration and effective asset management
