9 Features and Benefits FeaturesBenefits Instrument automatically sweeps at the fastest possible speed consistent with getting accurate data User doesn’t have to experiment with sweep speed to find one that yields good data. Multi-segment upper and lower limit lines with graphical or numeric editing – up to 40 segments Complex spectrum masks can be created and edited easily Built-in Signal Standards and Channel Numbers (Customer customizable) User doesn’t need to memorize frequency vs. channel # Up to three colored display traces – all three can be live plus one can be used for trace math Allows trace Math functions Traces can be easily seen

10 Problems solved by the MS2720T Reduces the amount of equipment a technician must take to a site. Covers the frequencies used by all current and emerging cellular, land mobile and WLAN technologies Covers popular microwave backhaul and radar frequencies Measure 5th harmonic of 3G signals Analyzes all leading 3G and 4G signal types. –Firmware is regularly updated as the signal standards evolve Gives engineers a measuring tool that provides lab-quality measurements without breaking the budget or taking too much space LAN interface allows engineers and technicians to gather data and operate multiple instruments remotely. Able to measure filters, cables, attenuators, amplifier, etc. using the tracking generator

11 For Carriers and End-users Better capability to measure interference –Fewer dropped calls means more revenue for the carrier and gives greater end-user satisfaction Field Strength Measurement capability –Carriers can analyze variations in signal strength to detect areas of poor coverage –Help determine need for additional cell sites or micro-cells to fill dead spots, increasing end-user satisfaction and reduce loss of subscribers Measure 5th Harmonic of 3G base stations Measure microwave backhaul signals Find bursty interferers using Burst Detect mode –Detects pulsed signals 200 µs wide or greater –Great for finding improperly installed cell phone boosters
