Welcome Parents! Mrs. Turner Mrs. Williams Mrs. Harris Ms. Schmitz

2 Mrs. Williams I am from Marion, Ohio. I moved to Columbus 14 years ago while I was earning my Masters degree at The Ohio State University. My husband and I have 2 sons - Conner (12) and Cade (6). This is my 9th year teaching in Pickerington. This is my second year of teaching 5th grade.

3 Mrs. Turner I am from Pickerington, Ohio. My parents were also Picktown graduates!!! Being a Tiger is awesome! My husband and I have four children. I have two daughters (Brittany-18 and Ally-16), and he has two sons (Riley-19 and Daylon-15). All four children live with us, so there is never a dull moment! This is my 22nd year teaching in Pickerington. I have been a 5th grade teacher for all of those years except my very first year (1st grade and Special Education).

4 Mrs. Harris I have lived in Pickerington for most of my life (Mrs. Clark was one of my fifth grade teachers!) I have three children ages 4, 7, and 9 I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Capital University I love to spend time with my family, read, and play outdoors I look forward to a wonderful school year!

5 Ms. Schmitz I am from Carroll, Ohio.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Western Governors University This will be my first year teaching in Pickerington Schools. I have worked previous to teaching as an Independent Provider for individuals with Special Needs and as an One-On-One Aide at Forest Rose School. I have volunteered and worked in the Special Education field since 2006.

Infinite Campus Student/Parent Portal Directions for signing up are in the information packets sent home last week. Students should set up their account as well.

9 Student Planner Please check the student planner nightly for homework assignments and other important information. Planners can also be compared to our website. These agendas need to be signed nightly. The student planner is also a great tool to communicate with us.

16 Grading This is the first year your students will be receiving letter grades instead of the L, P, M, E. This type of grading generally takes students a little while to get used to.
