Roger Williams is kicked out of Massachusetts and starts his own colony.
Rhode Island disagrees with the Religious Government and Not paying for Indian lands of MA.

10. Anne Hutchinson
People were not to discuss the bible. That was the job of priests
Anne Hutchinson was thrown out of the church for having bible study groups

11. Salem Witch Trials Occurred between 1692-1693
A group of girls accused several women in Salem of casting spells on them
Over 2o0 people accused of witchcraft
Most believed that Satan roamed the earth
20 people were executed
19 were hung
One 71 year old man was pressed to death with stones (confession)
Several died in prison
