Summer-What’s on
13th August - Moving day. Please come to CAPS at 10.30am in your car with an empty boot! If you are not able to participate in lifting and carrying, please join us at 11.30am at The Potternewton Centre for a brief communion and blessing of the building. 20th August - All-age GNG, 10.30am at The Potternewton Centre. We will worship together, then various activities including a prayer walk/treasure hunt around the neighbourhood.
27th August - Family walk and picnic, 10am at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoir Car Park. Please bring your own lunch and a little bit extra to share.
3rd September - Hymns in the Street, 10.30am on Regent Street. This year worship is led by Chapel A and Messy Church, so bring all your kids! Plus: knitting!
Please note that we are not allowed to use the equipment in the lower playground and that any children playing there must be supervised by an adult.

THIS COMING WEEK
Many of the usual weekly activities pause during the school summer holidays (August). Therefore, there will be no weekly staff prayers or mid week children’s club until September. We do however have an exciting program for those of you who are around over the summer.
Sunday August 6th – Breakfast
There will be no service at the school on the 6th August. Instead we will meet for breakfast at the Nix’s or Robin’s house starting at 9.30am. A basic breakfast will be provided of cereals and toast, however guests are invited to bring a contribution of their choosing. Please let Robin or Mike and Jan Nix know if you are coming. Are you interested in joining a housegroup but haven't quite found one yet? Are you free on a Thursday evening? Do you like puddings?
On Thursday September 14th Mark, Jane and Fiona's housegroup is having a social evening with puddings and would love you to come along if you are interested or even just beginning to think about housegroups and would like to find out a bit more.
