I teach Music on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Mondays I am in Room 9
I am NOT here on Wednesdays
Also take Choir on Tuesdays (JP choir) and Fridays (UP/Senior Choir)

3. Music Room Class Rules…
1# - Everyone MUST HAVE A GO… No Ifs, No Buts, if you give it a go and you still are having issues then we can talk about it and might try something different.
2# - Everyone MUST have RESPECT for:
Other People in the Classroom (students and teachers)
The Instruments
The Equipment
Yourself (Don’t put yourself down)

4. Other Rules…
Do NOT come into ACRA unless asked to come in by a teacher. Wait Outside Quietly.
DO NOT Touch any of OSHC’s Things
Please DO NOT Touch or Play instruments unless instructed to do so
If something breaks please tell MR A immediately so that he can fix it

6. Choir
2 Choirs this year – JP Choir on Tuesday Senior Choir on Fridays
JP Choir for years 2 – 4
Senior Choir for years 5 – 7. Year 4 students may come to senior choir BUT they will not be allowed to go to the Festival of Music.

7. Instrumental Lessons
This year you can learn how to play: - Acoustic Guitar - Electric Guitar - Piano - Drums - Electric Bass
You MIGHT be able to learn the Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet or Trombone as well for free if you are in years 5 – 7.

9. Musician of the Week Alicia Augello Cook Aka Alicia Keys
American R&B Singer-Songwriter, Pianist, Musician, Record Producer and Actress
Born 25th January 1980 (34 Years Old)
Born and raised in New York city
When she was 2 her mum and dad broke up and she went to live with her mum
She started music and dance lessons when she was 5 and started learning classical piano
When Alicia was 12 she enrolled in a special Music School in New York and was one of the top students
She stated acting when she was 5 and was in several TV shows as a guest on the show
She decided to change her stage name to Keys after her manager had a dream about it and told her. Alicia liked the name Keys because it described so many things about her
She released her first album ‘Songs in A Minor’ in and became a massive hit selling over 12 million CD’s world wide
Alicia likes to perform by playing her piano and singing from it
She has just released her 5th album, ‘Girl on Fire’
She is married to Hip Hop recording artist Swizz Beats and they have a boy together, Egypt Daoud Ibarr Dean
