2. Vocabulary
Square Root – one of 2 equal factors of a number Perfect square – has a rational number as a square root such as: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100, 121, 144… Radical sign used to indicate that you should find a the square root of the number. The square root will be nonnegative. It is also called the principal square root. Once you find the square root, drop the radical sign.
