See patients on your own, present H&P to physician, discuss assessment & plan, interpret EKGs and Xrays
Wide variety of patients – newborns to age 100+, lots of OB patients, acute and chronic office visits
In office procedures
Joint injections/aspirations, vaccinations, cryotherapy, skin excisions/biopsies, suturing lacerations, casting, assisting with vasectomies

Morning rounds
ER call (~1 night/week; 2 weekends total)
See patients first, do H&P, develop differential diagnoses, determine labs/imaging to order
Scrub in on C-sections
Observe colonoscopies
