Tour d’Trash: The Perham Resource Recovery Facility is an interesting place to tour. See first hand where your garbage goes and learn how it is turned into energy.
Recycling Tours: The Recycling Center is located in Fergus Falls. See how recyclable materials are sorted. Learn ways to reduce and reuse. Understand how hazardous materials are properly kept out of the environment.
Landfill Tours: Visit a local Transfer Station. Understand the engineering of landfills and learn how e-waste and other waste is properly disposed.

Tours take about one hour and educational activities can be incorporated into tours.
